Tired from the rigors of the road and newly married, Tom Petersson decided to take a break from the band from 1980-1986.  Bassist Pete Comita replaced Tom for a short tour of Japan in 1980 and some U.S. dates in 1981 before being replaced by Jon Brant during pre-production for the next album.  Tom later returned to the band on 1987.
